Portraits aren’t just for fair-weather fans!

To ensure a successful portrait session, it is important to me to communicate with my clients, so that I know exactly what they are hoping to get out of their session.  This applies to all types session types, including this High School Senior session!  Spring and Fall are very popular times for outdoor portraits, but there’s something about a warm summer rain or a fresh, powdery snow fall!  Capturing some rainy day fun was something that I learned when chatting with Bailey about her senior portrait session.  When there was a break in the rain, we found some well hydrated flowers, and stepped inside for a few studio poses!

What brings you joy?  If hats, mittens, scarves, and hot cocoa are your thing, check the forecast…SNOW DAYS are around the corner!

High School Senior, Travis!

When I get asked the question of whether the high school senior could/should incorporate his or her vehicle, I say YES PLEASE!  Your senior portraits are about who you are in this moment.  I still talk about my first car, it’s part of our high school experience.  Look how relaxed and happy Travis is when hanging out by his truck!  Thanks for checking out this blog post!  Don’t forget to browse the Seniors gallery on my home page above.
