I have owned and operated Tracy Brown Photography since 2009.  I specialize
in portraiture and fine art.  Some of you have witnessed first hand how different the photography industry is with digital cameras becoming very popular in the early 2000's.  Before digital, you could still find a list of studio photographers in the phonebook (dating myself), and now it's a part time job to go through the list online.  My interest in photography goes back to the film days, but I opened my business in the digital era.  For me, that meant that I needed to immerse myself into training and education to stay true to what photography means to me.  Proper lighting and posing is fundamental, and I believe what makes me stand out from many of the long list of photographers.  I am also a full service studio so I have the means to photograph in a studio setting and sell photographic prints, canvases, acrylics, albums, etc from a trusted professional lab.

I have earned a Master of Photography Degree with the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), and a Fellow of Photography (FP) Degree with the Virginia Professional Photographers Association (VPPA).  These degrees are a culmination of award winning competition merit images, service credits, and speaking and education credits.  I am honored to be giving back to my industry by teaching Fine Art Flower Photography.  In addition to working with clients to preserve special milestones, I operate an Etsy Shop for my fine art prints.
